Let's Take A Look Back at Season 1

The first season of the Dewless Bloom Podcast is complete. We'll be back in January of 2021 with more mini-series, guest, and stories! As we await the return of the podcast, I have made a list of my top 5 favorites from season one.

Now, I am so thankful for all the guests that I have had on the podcast so far. I wanted to share a few of the stories behind why I chose these episodes. These are my personal favorites because I have a feeling or experience attached to them. I love recording for this podcast.

This list of my top 5 memories from season one doesn't take any value away from all the other episodes and lessons that I learned throughout podcasting for the last six months.

Host Top 5 Favorite Episodes from Season 1

S1|E6 - Why "Finding Yourself" is Wrong

When I was a kid, people told me I was too much and that I need to choose one thing for my life. I had to relearn that I have the power to create the experiences I want for myself. I can be anything that I want to be. I may not be able to embody all those things at once, but I find it comforting that I can evolve my life to fit what I want for it. I am proud of myself for sharing my perspective on this human experience in this episode. There is so much more to who we are than what we do. I believe we should be in constant connection with ourselves so we can reevaluate what we want for our life.

S1|E7 - Manifestation, Shadow Work, & Chakras | My Journey

I remember thinking I didn't need to do any shadow work (I was wrong😅). Leading up to the release of this episode, I was confused. I knew that I had to begin to apply what I was learning to my life. I started my healing journey, which wasn't as pretty as I thought it would be. I cried a lot. Here, I began to rediscover what works best for me and my unique needs and desires for my life.

  • EPISODE DESCRIPTION: Bria shares some progress on her journey of learning more about her inner child through doing some shadow work exercises - READ MORE

S1|E14 - Trusting Your Gut w/ Zoel Esperanza

If I had to pick a number one episode, this would be it. Why? Because I finally felt like I could be apart of the community that I have always imagined for my life. By being in conversation with Zoel Esperanza, I not only gained friends, but I gain the confidence to hold space for other women. After this interview, I danced for hours to allow myself to sit in the joy of the supportive interaction that I just shared with another human. If you need a spirit lifter, listen to this episode to hear to women not only support each other but embrace the growth and appreciation of witnessing your journey.

  • EPISODE DESCRIPTION: During this episode, Bria chats with Zoel Esperanza about listening to our intuition and having self-awareness - READ MORE

S1|E9 - Raise Your Voice!

I refer back to the key points that I mentioned in this episode frequently. I tend to second guess myself when it comes to expressing my needs and wants to those who are around me, both professional and personal. I can feel too assertive or that I am crossing a line. I remind myself that I am doing a disservice to myself and those around me when I hold my tongue, especially when what I am saying will improve my quality of life. I should express myself freely and effectively. If you are struggling with communicating your needs effectively, this episode is for you.

  • EPISODE DESCRIPTION: Bria dives into the importance of learning to communicate effectively to express your needs and emotions during this episode - READ MORE

S1|E17 - Beginning of a New Era | My Journey

I didn't want to take a break from podcasting. I choose to listen to the nug that I needed to regroup. I was not planning content during season one. I usually recorded the week before an episode aired. As I was taking on new projects, this became something that wasn't sustainable for my growth. So I stopped. Even though the ending to season 1 was more abrupt than I wanted, it was necessary for all that is to come.

  • EPISODE DESCRIPTION: During this episode, Bria shares about what podcasting taught her and what is coming up for our next season - READ MORE
