How To Feel Safe

The people that are closest to you impact how safe you feel to be yourself. Growing up, I heard some variation of this quote: "you are the average of the five people you spend all your time around." I didn't think much of it then, but in hindsight, my friends we an external mirror of the internal battles I was having with myself.


It matters who you and where you share your aurora and energy. Some people drain you, and others feed off you.


You should feel safe in every relationship.

Take a moment to discover what safety looks like for you.


  • Who do you feel safe around to be yourself?

  • Are you apart of a community that you feel safe to show up as yourself?

  • Do you feel safe being alone with yourself?

  • Do you feel safe responding to your body and intuition?


The journey to building a healthy relationship with yourself starts with being honest with yourself and trusting yourself. You have to feel safe in your mind, body, and spirit.


Integrate all that you are into who you are now. The person you are becoming, and you were.


Make her feel safe. Welcome her in the present. Include her in the shifts of life.
